Ok kids, here we go…… it’s blogging contest time. We’ve got a couple on the agenda today thanks to Lee Odden over at the Online Marketing Blog.

First up is a Blogging Contest at Web Analytics World. The topic is ‘the Future of Search Marketing’, so pretty much wide open people! Basically you submit your super creative and truely original blog by Tuesday the 8th of May and watch the traffic fly in. The official winner is the blog that receives the most. Pretty straight forward. Lee Odden has some quick suggestions on how to make your blog unique, if you’re interested. Of course, knowing the caliber of combined talent our loyal readers harness, they may have some pretty sick ideas of their own. Make us proud yo! Prizes include a mixed bag of industry related goodies including a pro bloglog account.

The second competition is being hosted by Bruce Clay. It involves choosing a non-profit organization (for example the UNPF), and submitting an explanation on how and why a seo campaign will help it’s cause. Wow, pretty honorable stuff. The winner will receive up to $4000 worth of industry related prizes included two tickets to the SMX Search Marketing Expo in Seattle next month. Ohhh, tempting.

Both of these competitions were inspired by the Big Dog of SEM Contests, Marketing Pilgrim’s SEM Scholarship. Too much info to cover here so will just let that link speak for itself…

Um, am starting to think I should take down our wee comp from last month…

Cher - wow went a little linkcrazy on this one…
