Born and raised in Winnipeg, or Winterpeg as some of us affectionately like to refer to it, I have to admit I have been thoroughly enjoying the ‘Weather Warnings‘ across the UK this week. Schools are shut, 1 in 5 people didn’t make it into work yesterday, businesses are closed, all due to snow…

A self professed ‘Snow Expert‘ now that I am living in the UK, I find myself saying things like, “Yep, great face-washing weather”, “That snow will never lie”, etc…  Just when I was beginning to question my expertise (I found myself walking in the snow with an umbrella, no self-respecting Winterpegger would ever think to do this!), I was rejuvenated by the following article: London Calls Winnipeg for Advice on Snow
