Martin Luther King Day – Celebrated on the Web
Today is Martin Luther King day, in rememberance of him and of his cause a company called DDB Seattle has launched a web site reminding us of what segregation means. The site is called Remember Segregation and it brings a little shock value back from an era not that long ago.
Zachary Rodgers from Clickz News writes:
The idea behind the experience, created by DDB Seattle, is to create an online approximation of what life was like for millions of blacks and whites in the segregation era.
This is one of the many reasons why I love the internet. It is an excellent resource of information that otherwise may be lost in a periodical or in a book on a shelf. Hey, did I just indirectly promote Google Book Search?
