Jerry Yang, who invented Yahoo as a directory in 1994, announced in his interview with Danny Sullivan at the SES in NY that newly acquired Overture would be changing it name to Yahoo! Search Marketing Solutions. Read it for yourself here.

Nic ‘n’ Cher think they could have come up with something better. How about Yahoo & Yoo, or even Overhoo! We think anything is better than Yahoo! SMS or are they trying to tell us something……
