So I went surfing this weekend, and it wasn’t on the web……for once. I headed down to Cornwall for a long weekend, and caught some real waves. I’m not going to lie to you, today I am sore…..I’m lucky I can even move my fingers right now! Regardless, the weather albeit rainy on Saturday was beautiful on Sunday and the water, believe it or not was lovely. Wetsuits, of course were the order of the day, but hey, who really needs to worry about tan lines in October?
I spent most of my time body boarding, catching waves all over the place, I even got the hang of successful navigating around other surfers and swimmers. There were actually quite a bit of people in the water for most of the weekend, including numerous surf camps. I can’t imagine what Polzeath must be like in the summer! Not much unlike Glasgow Green at the first sign of sunshine….chalkers.
