Search Engine Watch published an interesting article today on what organisations oversee the engineering and operations of the Internet. Apparently it’s not the man behind the green curtain……….. It focuses on a publication entitled; A Consise Guide to the Major Interent Bodies, written by Alex Simonelis, a faculty member in the Computer Science Department at Dawson College in Montreal, Canada. Quite an impressive read for those of us who thought there was only one or two ‘In Charge’.
Nic ‘N’ Cher think everyone should be more aware of these institutions, including ourselves.
