So, I’m a cold fish. Even at my sister’s wedding there were chants of ‘Cold Fish’ ‘Cold Fish’ during my speech. But even this cold fish can shed a tear or two. It’s only at times of heightened vulnerability, ie leaving one home to go to another home and leaving friends behind, but it does happen.

If you can believe it, I didn’t cry at the wedding, I didn’t cry at the news of the birth of my nephew, however, I did manage to bawl yesterday on my flight back to Winnipeg after watching ‘Music and Lyrics’ a movie about a ‘washed up singer whose given a couple of days to compose a chart-topping hit for an aspiring teen sensation’.

Nope can’t cry in front of family or friends but don’t mind breaking down with an audience of 100 strangers whose only escape is an emergency exit about 30,000 above the Earth…. Now, that’s cold.
