I thought for my first blog back I would keep in the theme of my birthday. Yep, this is me milkin’ it people!

Here’s the play by play:

On the big day I was greeted by my good friend and colleague Stephen who announced that I had 314,496,000 seconds until my 40th birthday! (Amazing that’s really 18 years in seconds eh?) A nice gesture, and it would have been enough, but there was more….. Enter, the Death Clock.

Yeah, we’ve all seen and enjoyed them, ‘cult’ sites that find themselves besting Google trends, until Brittany leaves the house again. MillionDollarHomePage anyone?

Anyway, not only did I have the countdown to my 40th already on, now I actually knew I was going to die on March 31st, 2059 (morbid, I know).

There’s more. Que my next birthday kick in the teeth: Nic is going to die 3 years after me! What the?! Of course this triggered a whole new level of ‘I am better than you‘ jokes from her. Which is always a good time.

With our times of death clearly established, we turned our attention to a different kind of clock… the one that reads 5 O’Clock Somewhere!

And that is all I remember…
