Why Winnipeg?
- The only other Canadian city is Quebec, and you don’t want to imortalize them…
- Winnie the Pooh is from Winnipeg, hence the name
- Sadly we lost our NHL team, the Winnipeg Jets, in ’95 and are still looking to fill the gaps in our hearts, Monopoly could be the answer we’ve been looking for
- It’s the slurpee capital of the world, surely that deserves recognition
- And simply because at this time of year it is accurately referred to as Winterpeg and during the football season is rarely referred to as Winnerpeg… give a kid a break eh?
