Check out the top searches of 2006….
After reviewing the top searches of 2006 on the main search engines, MSN, Yahoo & Google, I can definitively say we must think the Net is the Hello magazine or the National Enquirer.
We are obsessed with searching for scandal about celebs, why? Well they do sell newspapers, and the popularity is now growing online.
We know the Net is full of all knowing information to suit everyones needs and taste, there were some very interesting news stories this year, Saddam Hussain, Fidel Castro, the YouTube revolution, gay marriage oh the list is endless and very varied. Also there is the everyday searches we all use, financial help, flights, hotels, presents and house hunting. So where were they in the list.
mmmmmm, I am puzzled, are there really that many people out there interested in Paris and Orlando, and thats not the destinations for cheap flights.
Maybe these stats just show us how amazingly popular and utilised the Net has become throughout all age and interest groups, we use it for everything these days. I know I do, well maybe not to find out about WWE, Angelina or Beyonce….. not yet anyway.
