So, what do you do when you’ve done the work, you’ve issued the bill, (awhile ago) and… no payment!

First thing’s first, make a mental note to charge in advance for all jobs moving forward then kick yourself for not doing it in the first place. Great, lesson learned but still no money…

Well, I could make a list of all the excuses I’ve heard in hopes of helping other poor sods avoid this situation:

• I’ll contact my accounts department and call you back
• I’ll get my accounts department to contact you
• We’re just waiting on payment approval from our CEO, I’ll get back to you as soon as I know anything
• Oh, did you not get it? Let me check and I’ll call you back
• I’m sorry I can’t come to the phone night now, please leave a message
• I’m sorry I can’t come to the phone right now, please leave a message
• I’m sorry I can’t come to the phone right now, please leave a message

Or, I could continue applying seo techniques on the site, but maybe with another goal in mind… (that’s right, stay out of the key and you won’t get hurt people)
